Persons interested in
becoming a member of the Board of Directors are requested to complete
the information
below and forward it to the Eastern
Oregon Regional Crisis Program, Attention “QIC Board Chair”,
17 SW Frazer, Suite 309, Pendleton, OR 97801.
The mission of the QIC is to acquire and deliver the resources and services
that enable individuals to:
a. Live independently and inclusive lifestyles;
b. Achieve their desired level of productivity.
Board Member Terms
Board members serve four-year terms. The Board meets every two months.
QIC members are expected to attend all meetings. There will be six (6)
meetings each year. Members will be provided one excused absence each
year. After the second absence members will be asked to review their
commitment to the committee. A third absence will prompt a committee
review and vote on continued membership.
Nominating
Process and Expectations
1) Names of potential Board members will be solicited from staff, current
Board members, educational institutions, agencies and other community
members.
1) The Board Committee will review the applications and bring recommendations
to the full Board for a vote.
2) All applications will remain on file in the QIC office. If you are
not selected for a Board position when you first apply, you will be contacted
when openings occur to determine your continued interest and invited
to reapply.
3) Board members will be expected to participate in QIC functions during
the year. Board members are expected to attend six Board meetings each
year.
